EXERCISES IN VISUAL IMAGERY
This is a subjective glimpse into our riveting world through the use of visual imagery. The photography is quite diverse in its topical approach, though with a soft spot for the urban environment, abandoned places, geometrical patterns, altered perspectives, and moody ambients. The onus is on composition, simplicity, shadows and contrasts, untold stories or incomplete pictures, and on, what is hoped, the creation of arresting photography. Both film and digital are used. The photography is also sometimes combined with other contextual forms of display or viewer-image interactions that go beyond conventional framing. Samples are provided under the Galleries and Experimental Projects sections of this website. More images and details of the work are available upon request.
