interactivity
Escaping usual discursive traps, the glass walls behind which images are typically encased are eliminated, whilst visitors are invited to interact with the works by leaving their own interpretations, word associations and drawings on the card mounts. Another kind of subjectivity is sought for and new visual narratives are stimulated through public participation.
Two exhibitions were organised along these lines: "Fluid perceptions: interactive photography" in London in 2012 and "Building stories" in Bucharest in 2014. A short video clip made at the opening of the former is available here. More information on these projects can be found in the Exhibitions section of this website.
